This collection contains a memoir relating <strong>to</strong> Peter Vlcko‘s experiences in Slovakia,<br />

persecution. Included are letters <strong>to</strong> Harvey Sarner and <strong>to</strong> the Anti-Defamation League of<br />

B‘nai B‘rith about the postwar Arab-Israeli conflict and antisemitism.<br />

This collection consists of an excerpt from Sophia Binkiene‘s book containing testimony<br />

by Dr. F. Gurviciene concerning her daughter‘s rescue by Dr. Ona Landsbergiene, the<br />

mother of the future democratically elected president of Lithuania, Vytautas Landsbergis.<br />

Provenance: Sophia Binkiene wrote Soldiers Without Weapons in 1967 and published it<br />

in Vilnius, Lithuania. Source of acquisition is Miles Lerman.<br />
