This brief testimony describes Linda Breder‘s deportation <strong>to</strong> Auschwitz, her participation<br />

in the ―Kanada‖ kommando, her witness <strong>to</strong> the sabotage of the Birkenau crema<strong>to</strong>ria, and<br />

her subsequent incarceration in Rechlin, a subcamp of Ravensbrück.<br />

Provenance: The testimony was written in April 1983 during the American Gathering of<br />

Jewish <strong>Holocaust</strong> Survivors covention in Washing<strong>to</strong>n, D. C. Source of acquisition is<br />
