in the ghet<strong>to</strong>, atrocities against Polish Jews, and Horowitz‘s life in hiding. Specific dates<br />

are not mentioned in the poem.<br />

Nina Kaleska is a survivor of the Grodno ghet<strong>to</strong>, Ravensbrück, and Auschwitz. These<br />

papers contain in<strong>for</strong>mation about her experiences in Auschwitz and her thoughts on<br />

Jewish-Christian relations in the years since the <strong>Holocaust</strong>. Also included is a copy of a<br />

love poem.<br />

This testimony contains in<strong>for</strong>mation about Rose De Liema‘s peaceful life in Holland<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e the <strong>Holocaust</strong>, the German invasion of the Netherlands, the deaths of many of her<br />

family members, her life in hiding, and her eventual capture and deportation <strong>to</strong><br />

Auschwitz-Birkenau. Also included is in<strong>for</strong>mation about De Liema‘s friendship with<br />

members of the Anne Frank family in Auschwitz.<br />
