Superior of the Convent of the Sisters of the Very Holy Savior, in Brussels, Belgium. She
describes how her convent cared for Jewish girls and hid them from the Gestapo during
the German occupation in World War II.
Provenance: The memoir is from the Archives of the Commune of Anderlecht, Belgium,
and the donor is Rachelle Baske. Lorraine Lasko donated a copy of the English
translation of Sr. Marie-Aurelie‘s memoir.
