Andy Warhol said that the subject and hero of his films was personality. Not someone’s story or life, but his or her personality with all its inexpressibility. So when your object is a human being, it’s better to look at him, not talk about him. The three fantasies about three persons (Gurdjieff, Marilyn Monroe, Simone Weil) follow this path. They are not stories but situations in which personality becomes visible and may also become the point of intersection with the personality of an actor who embarks on a personal— even intimate—adventure in a fantastic and hazardous experiment of exchange. Personality is not only someone’s character. It’s also that person’s extreme dream, an unfulfilled but potential version. Finally, personality is also auto-suggestion and selfdeception, as well as myth which sometimes explodes among others. All three characters, as different as they are, have one thing in common—they want to cross boundaries. Even if it is difficult to compare them, there is one vision of transgression—the perennial human one.
