ORGANIZATION OF RHEUMATOLOGY SERVICE AND EDUCATION<br />
OF RHEUMATOLOGISTS<br />
ROKSANDA STOJANOVIĆ<br />
Organi<strong>za</strong>tion of rheumatology services include primary care (general practitioner, rheumatologist in<br />
primary health service), secondary (rheumatologist in regional general hospital) and tertiary (referal<br />
specialized institution) level. The aim of this organi<strong>za</strong>tion is to provide adequate care to all patients with<br />
rheumatic diseases. New specialist training in rheumatology will be established in the near future<br />
consisting of 2 years of internal medicine, 3 years of clinical rheumatology and 1 year research of<br />
rheumatology related dicipline). The permanent education is very important for rheumatologists and<br />
general practicioners, and for other specialists and health proffesionals in rheumatology as well.<br />
