When the " Blocking back outside home signal " signal is given for a
train to be allowed outside the home signal, it does not mean that it can
run back any distance on the facing line, but must stand immediately outside
the home signal.
Trains or vehicles when placed outside home signals, in accordance with
this authority, must always have a van at the end towards the box in the
rear, except where otherwise specified. ( O . 4009.)
