Staff or Tablet Stations, Sections, Passing Places, and t Preceding Places, and Special Instructions with regard thereto. These limes are worked in accordance with the Regulations for Train Signalling by Block Telegraph System on Single Lines of Railway ; and under the Train Staff, or Train Staff and Ticket System, or under the Electric Train Staff System, or under the Electric Train Tablet System, except where stated to the contrary. (1 )• — Tra ins m u s t n o t b e a l l Single Lines on which Passenger Trains run. tSee Regulation 5, Single Line Regulations for working by Train Staff and Ticket, page 3. Special Instructions to be observed at Passing Places 7— same time at " Line Clear," except as shown in the " Remarks " column and then under Clause b " Regulation 4 of the Block Telegraph Regulations. ,(2).--Trains not conveying passengers may be accepted from opposite directions under Regulation 5 of the Block Telegraph Regulations where they cannot be accepted at " Line Clear," unless the use of regulation 5 is prohibited. (3).—Where trains are allowed to pass esach other, and they cannot be accepted from opposite directions at the same time, the first train must be drawn clear on to the loop line, or shunted clear of the running line before the other is allowed to leave the next Block Station.
