Closing <strong>the</strong> <strong>Capillary</strong> Cassette<br />

1 Place <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>p of <strong>the</strong> cassette on<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> bot<strong>to</strong>m part with an offset of 8 mm<br />

(0.3 inch).<br />

2 Hold <strong>the</strong> bot<strong>to</strong>m part and slide <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>p part <strong>to</strong>wards <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>p of <strong>the</strong> cassette<br />

until it clicks in<strong>to</strong> place.<br />

3 Make sure <strong>the</strong> cassette cover and body form one unit<br />

4 Make sure <strong>the</strong> two capillary ends outside <strong>the</strong> cassette are both <strong>the</strong> same<br />

length as <strong>the</strong> cassette guiding pins and are parallel <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>m. Use <strong>the</strong><br />

capillary lock <strong>to</strong> make adjustments <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> inlet side of <strong>the</strong> capillary. The<br />

capillary end on <strong>the</strong> outlet side is fixed; it cannot be moved.<br />
