7 Hardware Information<br />

Changing <strong>the</strong> Fuses for <strong>the</strong> Power Supplies<br />

Changing <strong>the</strong> Fuses for <strong>the</strong> Power Supplies<br />

Prior <strong>to</strong> changing fuses, you must switch <strong>the</strong> instrument off and disconnect it<br />

from <strong>the</strong> line power.<br />

Fuses are located on <strong>the</strong> back right side of <strong>the</strong> instrument. Replace fuses with<br />

identical part numbers as specified under “<strong>7100</strong> <strong>Capillary</strong> <strong>Electrophoresis</strong><br />

Instrument Electronics” on page 173.<br />

WARNING<br />

Fire hazard<br />

Using wrong fuses can result in fire hazard.<br />

• For continued protection against fire hazard, replace fuses only with <strong>the</strong> same type<br />

and ratings.<br />

• Only use <strong>the</strong> fuses specified for this instrument. The use of o<strong>the</strong>r fuses or materials<br />

is prohibited.<br />
