Physical Connection<br />

WARNING<br />

Module is partially energized when switched off, as long as <strong>the</strong> power cord is<br />

plugged in.<br />

Repair or maintenance work on <strong>the</strong> module can lead <strong>to</strong> personal injuries, for<br />

example a shock hazard, when <strong>the</strong> cover is opened and <strong>the</strong> module is connected <strong>to</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> power.<br />

• Ensure that line power cord is disconnected before setting up your <strong>Agilent</strong> CE<br />

instrument.<br />

In general you have <strong>to</strong> go through <strong>the</strong> following steps.<br />

1 Unpack <strong>the</strong> <strong>Agilent</strong> CE instrument and position it in a suitable location on<br />

your bench, see “Unpacking <strong>the</strong> <strong>Agilent</strong> CE Instrument” on page 54.<br />

2 Connect <strong>the</strong> cables at <strong>the</strong> rear of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Agilent</strong> CE instrument.<br />

3 Install <strong>the</strong> bottles in <strong>the</strong> replenishment system, see “Preparing <strong>the</strong><br />

Replenishment <strong>System</strong> if Needed” on page 111.<br />
