Timetable Options with CEC<br />

The installed high pressure supply may also be used in <strong>the</strong> general timetable of<br />

a method setup. The Pressure command is extended by <strong>the</strong> External pressure<br />

functionality, see Figure 49 on page 157.<br />

Timetable-controlled changes in <strong>the</strong> pressure settings are:<br />

• OFF: Pressure usage is switched off.<br />

• Internal, pressure (-100 mbar <strong>to</strong> +100 mbar): Can be applied <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> inlet<br />

vial.<br />

• Flush: Standard flush procedure is applied with an internally generated<br />

pressure of approximately 950 mbar.<br />

• External: Allows pressurizing <strong>the</strong> inlet vial and/or <strong>the</strong> outlet vial. External<br />

pressure is reduced <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> set value between 2 and 12 bar and applied in a<br />

controlled manner.<br />
