Desired Outcomes:<br />

Community Planning:<br />

A) Conclude plan development for Greater Hansville and Downtown Kingston by 3 rd quarter <strong>2009</strong>. Later<br />

year efforts will include implementation and continued refinement; conclude review and<br />

recommendations on Site Specific Amendments by mid-year; conclude Silverdale district development<br />

by mid-year.<br />

B) Conclude code reviews on a regular basis, targeting 3-4 reviews in <strong>2009</strong>; conclude review of Title 21,<br />

followed by Title 16 and Title 17.<br />

C) Develop logical areas for rural commercial and industrial sites; engage economic development partners<br />

in planning processes; develop Title 17 use table for rural commercial and industrial uses.<br />

D) Code change that allows for reasonable development of legacy lots while addressing urban-level<br />

densities.<br />

E) Code change that is compliant and meets objective of clustered rural development objectives.<br />

Land Use:<br />

F) Reduction of active backlogged permits, moving to decision or elimination; reduction of inactive permits,<br />

moving toward elimination; concise staff report presentations that meet requirements of Hearings<br />

Examiner and which are unassailable under appeal.<br />
