Financial Services<br />

This program maintains the central accounting system to which all county departments and agencies<br />

report financial transactions. This division is responsible for control and issuance of all disbursements,<br />

financial accounting and reporting, grant accounting, payroll and fixed asset management. The<br />

Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is prepared and published annually by Financial Services.<br />

1. Maintain high standards in accounting and reporting of <strong>Kitsap</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s financial activities.<br />

2. increase the skill level of staff by providing training at national and state conferences.<br />

3. Provide on-line JD Edwards training manual for county staff.<br />

4. Provide for electronic payments to vendors.<br />

5. Encourage utilization of direct deposit by county employees.<br />

C. Provide electronic payments for vendors.<br />

D. Image Financial Services documents.<br />

E. Provide payroll services with secure on-line payroll registers and on-line employee earnings and reduction<br />

reports.<br />
