Annex A Advisory Committee on Corruption (ACOC)
Terms of Reference (as at 31 December 2006)
1. 就 香 港 的 貪 污 問 題 向 廉 政 專 員 提 供 意
見 , 並 負 責 :
(a) 監 察 廉 政 公 署 在 執 行 職 務 、 人 手
編 制 及 行 政 事 務 上 的 政 策 ;
(b) 就 廉 政 專 員 根 據 《 廉 政 公 署 條
例 》 第 8 (2) 條 所 考 慮 採 取 的 行 動
提 供 意 見 ;
(c) 聽 取 廉 政 專 員 報 告 廉 署 對 屬 員 所
採 取 的 紀 律 處 分 ;
(d) 審 核 廉 政 公 署 每 年 的 開 支 預 算 ;
(e) 在 廉 政 公 署 年 報 呈 交 行 政 長 官 前
予 以 審 閱 ; 及
(f) 每 年 向 行 政 長 官 提 交 委 員 會 的 工
作 報 告 。
2. 有 需 要 時 , 向 行 政 長 官 反 映 引 起 委 員
關 注 的 廉 署 運 作 或 該 署 所 面 對 的 任 何
問 題 。
1. To a d v i s e t h e C o m m i s s i o n e r o f t h e
Independent Commission Against Corruption
on any aspect of the problem of corruption in
Hong Kong, and, to this end :
(a) to keep the operational, staffing and
administrative policies of the Commission
under review;
(b) to advise on action being considered by
the Commissioner under section 8(2) of
the Independent Commission Against
Corruption Ordinance;
(c) to receive reports by the Commissioner on
disciplinary action taken;
(d) to consider the annual estimates of
expenditure of the Commission;
(e) to scrutinise the annual report of the
Commission before its submission to the
Chief Executive; and
(f) to submit an annual report to the Chief
Executive on the work of the Committee.
2. To draw to the Chief Executive's attention, as it
considers necessary, any aspect of the work of
the Commission or any problem encountered
by it.
