By-elections, and six related to the 2003 and
2007 Rural Committee Elections. Of the 57
complaints, 14 involved bribery with the remaining
43 relating to other corrupt or illegal conduct,
such as providing refreshments and entertainment
at elections, and publishing false or misleading
information about a candidate.
