Encore Two User Manual Issue 1Path NamesAllows a 4 character name to be assigned to any of the paths in thecurrent mix setup.NB: It is not possible to rename paths if the Mix Setup is read-only.> To name a path, click on Path Names in the drop down Lists menu orclick the Path Names icon. The Path Names dialogue box will appear.> Select the desired paths by clicking on the associated path number.The related System and User Names will appear in the System Name andUser Name boxes.> Edit the User Name, click Name, and the new name will be inserted intothe list.A Path Name cannot containmore than four characters.Auto IncrementIf this box is checked, and if the name should contain a number as it’s lastcharacter, then when you click on Name, the highlight bar will drop to thenext entry in the list, the name will be copied down and the trailingnumber will be incremented by 1.Auto Number> Allows you to number paths sequentially by pressing Name.DefaultSelect a path and click Default to rename that path to its default name.Default AllResets all names to default.Import / ExportIt is possible to import and export all path names as a *.CSV file (CommaSeparated Value file).RangeAllows you to define a range of paths to be renamed. As shown here, thiswill rename paths 1-24 as P-T 1, P-T 2 etc up to P-T 24.When you exit the Name page, these path names are then written to themix setup without having to press KEEP.This is to prevent accidental loss of names.- 101 -
