Encore Two User Manual Issue 1Record Direct Defeat can be enabled to prevent the bus/tape paddlesfrom switching automatically. This is for use with modern tape machinedesigns that have a tape return when the machine is in record.Solo Direct Defeat is used to prevent Tracks from automaticallyswitching back to Bus when solo is engaged and Solo In Place is thecurrent solo mechanism.Process Present LedsThis allows the green leds in the Signal Processing Selection Keys to beturned off when processing is present but not switched on.This option is only available on DFC.Recorder ControlIf ticked, Force Track Arm will:• Resend the Record command (if the relay is already set to 'Record On', itwill be set to 'Record Off' for 100mS before re-instigating the 'Record On'state).• Not fire the Master Record/Play relays.Partition Designer (DFC only)The Partition Designer is used to determine how many faders belong toeach console partition in Split Console mode and where the predub zone ispositioned within each partition.The top part of the page is a schematic representation of the consoleshowing how many Master Sections (Master and Surround Quadstrips) areinstalled in the console.PartitionsUsed to set the number of faders in each partition.The starting position of the first partition is always the first fader on theconsole (left hand side).The other partition starting positions are restricted by the placement ofthe Master Sections so that the partition boundaries can only include oneMaster Section.The Master Sections are shown by the white zones. The split point(s) canbe set by either dragging the black divider bar(s) on the coloured bar, orusing the scroll arrows next to the number of faders.The arrows show the bars that can be dragged.> They can only be dragged to the right of their current positions.Global Path Change In PlayThis allows global path changes to each partition while the automation isrunning.PreDub ZoneEach partition can have a predub zone set on any adjacent pair ofquadstrips within a partition.- 69 -
