Encore Two User Manual Issue 1> You will be asked to name the Client / Project / Title / Mix as per thestandard Encore format.> Either leave the names as they are, or rename them.> Only tick the Ignore Automation data box if you just wish to convertthe Mix Setup, yet not the Automation.> Click OK.The data will start to convert, and a progress bar will indicate this takingplace.Depending on the density of the automation, this may take severalminutes.You will be alerted once the Import has finished.> Click OK.> Close the other Automotion windows that are still on-screen by clickingthe X on the top right of the screens.This completes the conversion to Encore format.Importing the new archive onto the Encore drive> Open Encore, go to Backup Manager and restore the newly createdarchive.> Once you click the Restore icon, you will see the Rename dialogue,which allows you to rename the Client / Project / Title / Mix of the filinghierarchy as it is imported onto the C: drive.Either leave the names as they are, or type in new names and click OK.You will see this dialogue for every Pass, and as there could be many, youcan prevent this by clicking the Don’t Ask Again box.Should a Mix Setup already exist on the Encore drive with the samename, you will see the options dialogue for Mix Setups.> Make a selection and click OK.Once all the data is restored, it can be loaded as you would with otherAutomation and/or Mix Setup file.Using the imported Mix as a starting point for further automationAt this stage, there is no link between the imported Mix Setup, and theimported Automation, so two Load operations will be required.To do this, you will need to open the main Encore Automation program> Either• Click the Automate icon, or• Select the Filing icon.> Load the files as you would any other, loading the Mix Setup first.When you load the automation, you will be asked whether you want tocreate a tree from the imported mix.> Click Yes.- 139 -
