<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> Issue 1When the process is complete a confirmation dialogue box will bedisplayed plus a prompt to restart <strong>Encore</strong>.> Click OK.<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> and all of its components will now close.Once <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> is restarted, the imported Studio Config will be available.What to do with Offline <strong>Encore</strong>What you do now will depend on whether you are using Offline <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong>with real console data or as a standalone application for familiarisation.In either case, a useful starting point is to be aware of <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> fileorganisation, as described on the following pages.If you are working with real console data, you will need to use BackupManager to transfer files to the Offline <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> computer.If you are learning <strong>Encore</strong>, use the Filing utility to create and organisesome new Configuration Files, starting with a new Desk Setup.There are two categories of file types:• Automation• ConfigurationAutomation FilesAutomation data is stored in a hierarchy with the following levels:• <strong>User</strong>• Client• Project• Title• Mix TreeThis means that Clients are stored within <strong>User</strong>s, Projects are stored withinClients, Titles are stored within Projects and Mix Trees are stored withinTitles.A Mix Tree stores the automation data as Mix/Passes.A <strong>User</strong> can have any number of Clients, a Client can have any number ofProjects and so on.The only limitation is the space available on the <strong>Encore</strong> hard disk.- 216 -
