<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> Issue 1Recall (88R only)When Recall starts, the console is taken over by the Recall application.The Channel Solo keys are used to select the Paths for display on screen.The console will mute the audio when Recall scans the console for:• Making a new Store,• Updating a Store• Resetting with Auto Recall, or• Resetting with Hold RecallThere is no store loaded by default when Recall starts.A Store must be loaded or created before Recall's other functions can beused.> To start the Recall application, select Recall from the Tools menu, orselect the Recall icon.The main Recall Store Management screen will open.> To create a new Recall Store, click Create Store on screen.(If you already have a Recall Store loaded and it has changed then adialogue box will be displayed to ask if you want to save these changes.Click Yes or No as required).The Create Recall File dialogue box will be displayed.It has a list which shows the names of all existing Recall files within thecurrent filing hierarchy shown at the top of the screen.> If you do not wish to save the file to this location, either:• Select Browse from the screen. This will take you to the standardWindows explorer screen where you can select the location to keepthe Store.• Select Filing. This will take you to the <strong>Encore</strong> Automation directoryand you can select to save the file into anotherClient/Project/Title/Mix, then press Back once selected.As you are logged onto Automation, it defaults to naming the store as thecurrent Mix (left).> Either keep the name as it is, or type a name for a new Recall file.> Press Enter or click OK.If the name is already used then a dialogue box will be displayed to ask ifyou want to overwrite the existing file.> If you click No, you will need to edit the name of the new Recall file sothat it is unique, otherwise click Yes.Recall will scan the console and store the current control settings in thenew Recall file.- 119 -
