Encore Two User Manual Issue 1> Set the Input Channel and Output Channel for Controller 1 to1.Ethernet MIDI.> Click the local Apply button, and you will start to see activity in theHandshake bar.> Set the Input Channel and Output Channel for Controller 2 to2.Ethernet MIDI and repeat the rest of the setup as above.> Repeat for the Controller 3 and Controller 4.IP-MIDI Network conflictsAn issue has arisen concerning IP-MIDI HUI communication with EncoreTwo V5.3 and Pro Tools HD 7.4.Other versions and systems may also be affected.If your Encore system crashes with an AutEngX error whilst running HUIin Pro Tools via an IP-MIDI port, please check your network setup.This is known only to occur where the Encore PC and Pro Tools CPU areconnected to a corporate Local Area Network (LAN).For greatest stability and reliability, please keep the Encore PC and ProTools CPU on an isolated network free from any other IT devices.We cannot guarantee the stability of HUI where more complex networkrequirements are needed, however we are currently investigating thisissue.Disabling HUI in Pro Tools will alleviate this error if immediateintervention is required.After following the network suggestions above, logging out and back intoyour Encore PC, then following the on screen recommendations will bringyour system back online.- 117 -
