<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> Issue 1Ports (88R only)For 88R consoles only, the Ports tab has extra options for each of theMCS ports.> Tick each port if you are using an Adams-Smith synchroniser and/orFlying Faders.It is also possible to globally disable transport commands.MeteringAllows you to set the metering options on systems with TFT meterbridges.The options shown above will change depending on the type of console.The screenshot shows options for MMC (for DFC, other metering optionsare available in the Meter Designer).On fader strip displays, the metering information itself is always shown onthe top half of the TFT screens.The area below this has two display areas which can show user-defineddisplays.For the centre meter panel, there are a range of Stem / Group / Aux /Film etc displays.The metering options relate to all the TFT panels across the console withthe exception of the centre meter panel that shows Groups / Auxes / Filmsetc.The Upper Window and Lower Window options let you decide whichinformation is shown in these two windows:• EQ Curve: standard EQ curve display.• Dynamics Curve: standard compressor / limiter / gate display.• Small Meter: Shows input metering for paths that may be on thesmall faders.• WavTrak: shows waveform information for the incoming audio.• Pan Position: Shows the surround placement of the signal, includingspeaker destinations.• Path Information: shows Stem and Aux routingCentre Meter PanelThe Master Meter panel is divided into 4 areas, with identical displayoptions for each section.> Select each option for each section as required.If you select an option where those paths do not exist (selecting Groups7-12 where there are only 4 groups for example), then that section of thescreen will be blanked out.Select Follow Surrmon and the display will chase to whichever selectionis made on the Surround Monitor panel.- 76 -
