<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> Issue 1> To start <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> for the first time, double click on the <strong>Encore</strong> icon onyour desktop.When you start <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> for the first time, the About <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong>dialogue box will be displayed.This shows the software revision history, up to and including the currentversion of <strong>Encore</strong>.> Click OK to close the About <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> dialogue box.The licence agreement terms and conditions will be displayed.> Read through the licence agreement and then click the I AgreeRegister Now button.You will be asked to confirm that you have read the agreement.> Click Yes (<strong>Encore</strong> will not open if you decline either of these twooptions).If <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> has not already been licensed, the licence agreement will beredisplayed with a space for the licence number.> Enter the Licence number as supplied.As you type the 8 th character into each box, the cursor will automaticallyjump to the next box.> When the whole licence number has been entered, click OK.If the licence number is correct then a confirmation dialogue box will bedisplayed.> Click OK.If your licence number is rejected then please contact <strong>AMS</strong> <strong>Neve</strong>.Once your computer has a validlicence number, you will notneed to enter it again.The licence number will remainvalid when upgrading your copyof Offline <strong>Encore</strong>.<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> will continue to start.Messages will be displayed as <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> loads software components anddata.When <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> is ready, either the Standard <strong>Encore</strong> screen or theBroadcast page for Libra Live will be displayed, depending on theselection made in the control panel during installation.Studio ConfigurationWhen <strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> starts for the first time, there will be no informationregarding the processing and I/O available on the target console.This is stored in the Studio Configuration.The Studio Configuration is a hardware description of the target consoleand it is used in place of a real console by Offline <strong>Encore</strong>.This provides resource limits for the utilities used to create andmanipulate Automation and Configuration Files.- 214 -
