Encore Two User Manual Issue 1A timer will be displayed while the Desk Setup is being saved and thenallocated on the console.When this is complete, a dialogue box will be displayed confirming thatthe allocation process has finished.If the Desk Setup is not allocated successfully, the Allocation Resultsdialogue box will be displayed.This shows which paths have not been allocated because too muchprocessing has been used.> If this happens, remove some processing from those paths and tryagain.> To save the Desk Setup with a different name, click the Save Asbutton. The Save As dialogue box will be displayed for entering a differentDesk Setup name.> Enter the new name in the box, or click on a name in the list and modifyit in the box.> When the name is correct, click the OK button.Solo InhibitIf Solo Inhibit is active on a path then the path will NOT be cut when theSolo key is pressed for another path.This is so reverb returns etc can be left open so a path is heard in context.The current status of Solo Inhibits is saved as part of the Desk Setup.> Click on the radio button for the required path type.Click the check boxes for the required paths, or click and hold on the firstpath required and drag the pointer down the list.A path is Solo Inhibited when its check box is checked.Inhibit AllocationThis is used to prevent paths from being allocated on the console.This can be useful for isolating routing problems or temporarilysuspending the allocation of nonessential paths (for example, when aprocessing card has been removed).> Click on the radio button for the required path type.> Click the check boxes in the list for the individual paths to be inhibited(clicking a path a second time will un-inhibit the path).When the Desk Setup is loaded, the selected paths will not use anyprocessing resources and will not appear on the console surface.The Desk Setup will not be affected in any other way.- 156 -
