<strong>Encore</strong> <strong>Two</strong> <strong>User</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> Issue 1Automotion (Analogue)This screen has four options as shown:Importing Flying Faders Mixes> Select the drive that contains the Flying Faders mix you wish to convertand then click on the Automation tab.> In the upper window, either double-click on each level to navigate tothe mix level, or click on the top-most level and click Select All.This will convert all data in the selected Client.This files for conversion will be displayed in the lower window.> Click Transfer Selected Files.The conversion will use the same CPTM hierarchy in <strong>Encore</strong>.Source automation is not affected in any way.Imported mixes only have:• An Initial Snapshot, and• Pass 1.2This is due to the way Flying Faders stored automation.Importing Flying Faders Recall> Place the floppy disc containing the Flying Faders Recall files into the<strong>Encore</strong> PC and then click the Read button.> A DOS window will open informing you to insert the disc and press anykey to continue.The drive will be scanned, after which the information contained will bedisplayed.> Click down each level in the left-hand screen til you reach the mix level(as shown left).This ensures that when the conversion takes place, <strong>Encore</strong> uses the sameC/P/T/M as Flying Faders.(Should the Recall file have been made on a desk of different size, this willbe indicated as seen above).> In the left hand window, select the files to convert by including them byclicking on the icon to the left of the text.A green tick will be placed at that level and at all levels underneath it (asshown left).> Click the Convert button.- 141 -
