The sealed plate is preloaded with the reagents necessary for thedetection and quantification of genomic copies of the human RNase P gene (asingle-copy gene encoding the RNA moiety of the RNase P enzyme). Each wellcontains pre-loaded reaction mix (TaqMan ® 2✕ Universal PCR Master Mix, RNaseP primers, and FAM dye-labeled probe) and template.Figure 6-4 illustrates the arrangement of standards and samples on the RNase PInstrument Verification Plate.
