I can’t hear over the sound of tearing and shredding.<br />

Is that my skin or just this sheep’s clothing they’ve made me wear?<br />

I can’t see for the scouring light that’s blinding me.<br />

I can’t even close my eyes or turn them away from the blazing white disk<br />

that dominates the night sky.<br />

I can’t speak for the rage and bile rising in my throat to choke me.<br />

BESTIAL CRY<br />

Any sound I make rips its way out as a bestial cry that no human ever made.<br />

I can’t feel anything but fire and agony<br />

I can’t stop shaking…<br />

FIRE AND AGONY<br />

as my body tears itself apart from the inside.<br />

can’t stop clawing at the earth…<br />

can’t hold on...<br />

What’s going on?<br />

Am I dying? Am I being born?<br />

Has the life I knew been a fever dream inside a cursed and desolate womb?<br />

I can’t get out… I can’t come alive…<br />

Something’s suffocating me, and I can’t tear out of it.<br />

I’m not strong enough.<br />

Am I holding something back?<br />

Am I going insane?<br />

God, what’s happening?<br />

Am I in Hell?<br />

I can’t see… can’t speak… can’t feel…<br />

All I can hear is the roar of my boiling blood<br />

and a howl of inhuman rage and desire...<br />

Is that me?<br />

Am I making that sound?<br />

I can’t stop it…<br />

How have I held it back this long?<br />

And, God forgive me, why did I ever want to?<br />
