Touchstone<br />

Honcho has the unenviable job of riding herd on a<br />

raging band of testosterone-poisoned werewolves. And he<br />

loves it. Honcho served two tours of duty in the Marines,<br />

and while on an “unofficial” mission in Colombia fighting<br />

“the War on Drugs, ” he lost all of his men to enemy<br />

fire. Suffering from multiple bullet wounds himself, he<br />

erupted through his First Change, becoming in an instant<br />

the glorious fighting machine he always wished to be.<br />

When he came to his senses, he was covered in blood<br />

and surrounded by mangled corpses. He returned to the<br />

States and was quietly discharged. His conduct would have<br />

earned him a court martial had it been any sort of official<br />

mission. Soon after his discharge, he found out the rest of<br />

the truth about what he is.<br />

Honcho doesn’t hold much with the traditional<br />

weapons of old; swords and spears were never his thing.<br />

Sometimes he misses the days of gunmetal and powder<br />

burns, but even he can’t make himself stand and fire<br />

when his instincts are screaming at him to take on Gauru<br />

form and tear his prey apart. In human form, Honcho<br />

couldn’t be mistaken for anything other than a soldier.<br />

His broad shoulders, buzz-cut hair and parade-rest stance<br />

point him out to all but the most oblivious.<br />

SCAR ANGELS<br />

<strong>The</strong> Scar Angels pack has a history going back to the<br />

late 1940s, when the first members fought a potent road-spirit<br />

that had grown fat on horrible accidents on a local curve.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Scar Angels is one of the oldest Blood Talon packs still<br />

active, thanks to its practice of continually seeking out new<br />

blood. <strong>The</strong> Angels claim as their protectorate a network of<br />

interstate highways that crisscross the Rocky Mountains.<br />

<strong>The</strong>y scour the roads, constantly on the prowl for a new<br />

challenge. As a practical matter, they don’t always challenge<br />

every werewolf who travels on “their” highways, but they do<br />

make it their business to mark their territory and give all sorts<br />

of bloody grief to traveling packs who don’t respect it.<br />

Among humans, the Scar Angels appear to be an intimidating<br />

biker gang — though one far more terrifying in<br />

person than any other bikers. Even the most white-bread<br />

city-slickers can tell the difference.<br />

Aside from its alpha, Jerry “Duke” Needham, this<br />

pack includes Copperhead (Blood Talon Irraka), Fix<br />

(Iron Master <strong>It</strong>haeur), Hellfire (Blood Talon Rahu), and<br />

Smoker (Blood Talon Irraka). <strong>The</strong>ir totem is Hungry<br />

Cheetah.<br />
