En una última revisión Cochrane se compararon todos losestudios randomizados que compararan estrógenos –con o sin progesterona- frente a tratamiento estándarcon antipsicóticos en esquizofrenia. En total se trataba de 4 estudios con un total de 108 mujeres.No se encontró diferencias entre los grupos (DM PANSS –2,26 CI –15,4 a 10,9).
