The stone axes of Troy 69Tepe, Bes,ik Tepe and Hanay Tepe, definitive traces ofNeolithic habitation have not yet been reported. It isnow time for us to re-examine the history of the Troadand Troy itself since “Troy Zero” has been discovered.We know that even the Palace of Minos at Knossoshad an Early Neolithic settlement under the centralcourt (A. Evans 1921 and J.
