Digitale Formfindung | Modul 14P
In seminaristischer Form werden die in der Vorlesung vermittelten theoretischen
Grundlagen vertieft. An Hand einer architektonischen Aufgabenstellung wird
der praktische Umgang mit Bauwerksmodellierung, Techniken der computergestützten
Modellerstellung bis hin zur Übernahme analoger Skizzen und Modelle
ins Digitale sowie deren Präsentation behandelt.

Seminars deepen the theoretical foundations presented in lectures. Using an
architectural challenge as a starting point, the module will deal with the practical
use of structural modelling, techniques of computer modelling, through to
the transfer of analogue sketches and models to digital format, as well as their
presentation.
ar:toolbox ar:toolbox
Der Lehrstuhl betreut die Serviceeinrichtung für Studierende ar:toolbox, die als
innovatives Projekt mit der Einführung der Studiengebühren 2007 in Leben
gerufen wurde, umfasst drei wesentliche Aspekte:
▪ Studierende finden dank der Tutoren im Rechnerraum der Fakultät direkte
Ansprechpartner
▪ Hilfe und Service fürs Studium, von Studenten für Studenten.
▪ Ein Leihpool mit 35 Laptops, 66 Werkzeugen und 31 Multimediageräten steht
bereit, damit alle Studierenden über diese teilweise teuren Geräte verfügen
können.
Als weitere Facette werden in Schulungen Softwarekenntnisse vermittelt, z.B.
für Bildbearbeitung, Layout, 3D-Visualisierung und Fotografie.
The Chair takes care of the service facility for students ar:toolbox. With the
introduction the tuition fees, the ar:toolbox was brought into being in the Summer
Semester 2007. The ar:toolbox is an extensive service package for students
of the Faculty of Architecture. The rental of laptop, multimedia and other tools
equip students suitably for their design, visualisation and model-making tasks,
without the high costs of purchasing equipment. Moreover, each summer the
ar:toolbox offers a variety of software trainings that impart basic and advanced
skills for professional software solutions. Particularly positive to note is that
students have made very good use of this measure and have received it favourably.
The offer is essentially expanded or updated each semester by the students
themselves in their own established commission for this purpose.
