(1) Substantial senior management experience, including significant experience in<br />

emergency operations, humanitarian relief in different environments.<br />

(2) Proven capacity to supervise build capacity of the staff.<br />

(3) Experience of supervising large size of teams and coordinating with other<br />

ministries and department numbers of multi-cultural staff.<br />

(4) Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to deal systemically with<br />

organizational operations.<br />

(5) Strong leadership, supervisory, team building, and culturally appropriate people<br />

skills.<br />

(6) Demonstrable ability at report writing and excellent communication skills.<br />

(7) Ability and willingness to travel.<br />

(8) Excellent written and oral English language communication skills essential.<br />

(9) Ability to work with public sector and good understanding of the public sector<br />

system.<br />

2. Administration, Logistics and Security Officer (ALSO)<br />

a. Report to. Chief Coordinator PEOC.<br />

b. Grade. 17<br />

c. Location. Provincial Headquarters<br />

d. Job Purpose. The Administration Logistic and Security Officer will be responsible for<br />

effective and smooth functioning of PEOC in terms of Administration and procurement<br />

related matters. He will manage procurement and organize / facilitate meetings,<br />

seminar and workshops. Post holder will also plan and schedule all field travel, vehicle<br />

maintenance and repair schedules. He will ensure that all drivers are licensed and<br />

including repair and maintenance and costs, fuel and oil use, costs of personnel use if<br />

any and inventory status reports.<br />

e. Key Responsibilities<br />

(1) Administration and procurement related activities.<br />

(2) Maintain office filing system.<br />

(3) Consult all PEOCs teams to plan travels and schedule drivers. Programme<br />

vehicles logically and rationally.<br />

(4) Prepare inventory of P/R/SEOC assets and update it on regular basis.<br />

(5) Develop leave and travel authorization formats and circulate it in PEOCs.<br />

(6) Prepare schedule for the security guards for the office.<br />

(7) Availability of security guards all the time in the PEOC.<br />

(8) Ensure that fire system in the PEOC is installed and training is organized for all<br />

the staff members.
