Chairman PDMC will approve the stand down of the PEOC.<br />
PEOC/PDMA will notify to the key ministries and departments at federal<br />
and provincial level, <strong>NDMA</strong>, DDMA etc. SOPs to be followed for this<br />
stage are:-<br />
i. Chief Coordinator PEOC will debrief DG PDMA about stand<br />
down.<br />
ii. DG PDMA will advise Chairman PDMC to approve stand down<br />
of PEOC.<br />
iii. Chairman PDMC will approve it. PDMA issues notification.<br />
iv. DG PDMA through Coordinator PEOC will disseminate<br />
notification to the relevant ministries, department and other<br />
stakeholders.<br />
v. Final report on the emergency operations will be circulated to<br />
key stakeholders.<br />
vi. Inform DEOC and NEOC for stand down<br />
(4) Operationalization of PEOC. In case of full activation of PEOC, Chief<br />
Coordinator PEOC will be responsible to fully equip the PEOC and provide all<br />
facilities to the representatives of ministries and departments who will be<br />
present in PEOC during disaster time. Stock of emergency food, office supplies,<br />
satellite phone sets, generators, logs, status boards, maps, and other material<br />
and necessary equipment must be available. It is to be ensured that briefing<br />
room is equipped with all maps, screens and multimedia projectors and other<br />
necessary material. The Chief Coordinator will update NEOC on regular basis<br />
about the situation.<br />
(5) Organization of the PEOC. The PEOC will be headed by DG PDMA. The DG<br />
PDMA will have a team to run the PEOC. Job description of various<br />
appointments is attached at Annex B. Day to day routine activities will be run<br />
under the Chief Coordinator PEOC. The PEOC will be divided in five basic<br />
functional areas:-<br />
i. The command centre<br />
ii. The operations room<br />
iii. The communication specialist/media centre<br />
iv. IT experts area<br />
v. The administration and support area<br />
c. District Emergency Operations Centre (DEOC). DEOC will serve as the hub for<br />
receiving early warning and issuing information to public at village level, taking<br />
measures to evacuate people, updating relevant departments, response agencies, and
