(9) Security of PEOC especially after office hours.<br />
(10) Make necessary arrangements for workshops, trainings and organize the press<br />
conferences and briefings during disaster and non disaster times.<br />
(11) Maintain vehicles in good condition through frequent inspections. Deliver<br />
vehicles to garage facilities and regular maintenance. Monitor service for a<br />
rapid return to duty.<br />
(12) Prepare documents such as request for repair, maintenance, fuelling, etc. of<br />
vehicles. Verify the existence and use of daily vehicle checks and logs. Train<br />
staff and drivers in their use.<br />
(13) Inform PEOC team members - verbally and in writing - of any abuse or misuse<br />
of vehicles by employees or drivers. Familiarize staff with the use of<br />
management systems and forms having to do with vehicle use, maintenance<br />
and repair (e.g., Fuel Coupons, Vehicle request forms, etc.).<br />
(14) Prepare monthly vehicle use reports. This includes expense reporting on fuel,<br />
oil, parts, repair and maintenance. Manage vehicle files, and ensure each<br />
vehicle has a separate file of all documents, reports, etc related to it in the file.<br />
(15) Any other duties in line with the overall tasks as assigned by the Chief<br />
Coordinator PEOC.<br />
(16) Develop logistic system including procurement logistic formats and procedures<br />
for PEOC.<br />
(17) Propose a logistics plan for the PEOC including requirements for the<br />
emergency time to operate within and outside the operational areas of<br />
reference.<br />
(18) Adapt logistics activities according to security considerations as the operational<br />
environment changes; ensure new emergency operations are effectively<br />
supported.<br />
(19) Prepare list of suppliers for food and Non food items and coordinate with<br />
DEOCs in this regards.<br />
(20) Build up unified logistics system and procedures (one system) for logistics for<br />
the PEOC and DEOCs.<br />
(21) Develop procurement and logistics management guidelines for the PEOC and<br />
DEOCs.<br />
(22) Ensure that communication systems are adequate and maintained provide<br />
training to staff on the use of such equipment and communications protocols in<br />
conjunction with the Logistics Officer.
