6. Logistics & Security Officer<br />
a. Report to. Director NEOC.<br />
b. Grade. 17<br />
c. Location. Islamabad<br />
d. Job Purpose. The post holder will have overall responsibly to develop both the<br />
security and logistics functions within the NEOC to a point where logistic and security<br />
policies and procedures are systematically applied in the NEOC disaster and non<br />
disaster times. This will include the ongoing assessment of threats and the provision of<br />
advice to manage risk; the maintenance and updating of guidelines. Develop logistics<br />
and procedures for the NEOC and circulate within NEOC and <strong>NDMA</strong> for their feedback<br />
and finalize the procedures. Ensure that that the logistics system in place and<br />
procedure followed by each member of the NEOC. The post reports to the Director<br />
NEOC and works in close collaboration with other team members in the NEOC,<br />
P/R/SEOC and DEOC.<br />
e. Key Responsibilities<br />
(1) Logistics<br />
(a) Review, assess, and analyze logistics for the NEOC, PEOCS and<br />
DEOC.<br />
(b) Develop logistics system and procedure for NEOC develop procurement<br />
logistic formats.<br />
(c) Formulate a logistics plan for the NEOC including requirements for the<br />
emergency time to operate within and outside the operational areas of<br />
reference.<br />
(d) Assess current logistics arrangements and capacities in NEOC and<br />
PEOC and propose a way forward in terms of management, hierarchy,<br />
training, and capacity building.<br />
(e) In collaboration with the PEOC and DEOC Logistics Officers, assess<br />
technical skills and capacity of PEOC and DEOC logisticians, and
