(10) Prepare a inventory of equipments, human resources, vehicles, ambulances,<br />
medicine stocks, hospitals that come under the federal ministry of health and<br />
update this list on six monthly basis and share it with PDMAs.<br />
b. Emergency <strong>Response</strong><br />
(1) Designate a representative in <strong>National</strong> Emergency Operations Centre during<br />
the emergency period.<br />
(2) Alert and deploy medical teams and paramedic staff in the affected areas for<br />
rapid assessment and emergency response.<br />
(3) Exercise vigilance about possibility of any epidemic /outbreak and take effective<br />
measures against it.<br />
(4) Provide technical support to PDMA including Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK in<br />
carrying out smooth health services in emergency response.<br />
(5) Ensure that WHO protocols on quality and Sphere Minimum Standards are<br />
followed by medical professionals in the field.<br />
(6) Coordinate and facilitate with WHO/UNICEF and other humanitarian<br />
organizations working in health sector in affected areas.<br />
(7) Monitor health situation in the affected areas.<br />
(8) Document the lesson learnt from the response experiences and incorporate<br />

a. Emergency Preparedness<br />
(a) Prepare emergency preparedness plan on education sector and share it with<br />
provincial education departments, <strong>NDMA</strong> and PDMAs.<br />
(2) Prepare a roster of volunteer teachers and students that can be deployed as<br />
volunteers in emergency response.<br />
(3) Develop education assessment checklist, monitoring and evaluation formats<br />
for emergency response programme.<br />
(4) Develop a model of mobile school for emergency situation and develop<br />
emergency education teaching kit which can be used in emergency situation.<br />
(5) Prepare a list of ICT-based government schools and colleges that may be used<br />
for relief camps and prepare a list of suppliers for stationery, school text<br />
books, school bags, uniforms and share it with <strong>NDMA</strong>.<br />
(6) Organize orientation programme to raise awareness of education authorities<br />
and professors, teachers about emergency response and role of education.<br />
(7) Coordinate with <strong>NDMA</strong> for emergency response planning.<br />
b. Emergency <strong>Response</strong><br />
(1) Designate a representative to the <strong>National</strong> Emergency Operations Centre.
