8. Role and Functions<br />
a. <strong>NDMA</strong><br />
(1) Pre-<strong>Disaster</strong><br />
(a) Prepare emergency preparedness plan at national level.<br />
(b) Prepare hazard specific national level contingency plans<br />
(c) Provide technical support to province in preparation of contingency<br />
plans<br />
(d) Lay down the guidelines for preparing disaster management plans for<br />
different Ministries, Department and the Provincial <strong>Disaster</strong><br />
Management Authorities
