vi. Coordinate with DDMAs to ensure that district preparedness and<br />
contingency plans are prepared.<br />
vii. Provide technical support to DDMAs for emergency<br />
preparedness and contingency planning.<br />
viii. Assess training needs of the DDMAs in relation to emergency<br />
preparedness and response and organizing trainings for them.<br />
ix. Conduct risk analysis from the perspective of contingency<br />
planning.<br />
x. Assist <strong>NDMA</strong> in national level response planning.<br />
xi. Coordinate with concerned departments for preparation of<br />
(b) During <strong>Disaster</strong><br />
resource inventory for emergency response.<br />
i. Activation of NEOC.<br />
ii. Coordination with NEOC and DEOC.<br />
iii. Coordinate and support DDMA on loss and damage<br />
assessment/rapid assessment of the incident and share it with<br />
<strong>NDMA</strong>.<br />
iv. Coordinate and closely work with DEOC during emergency time<br />
to get information from the districts and disseminate to<br />
government departments, humanitarian organizations and other<br />
relevant agencies for effective response.<br />
v. Provide technical, management and coordination support to the<br />
DEOC during emergency response.<br />
vi. Collect, assess, consolidate, and circulate information related to<br />
the emergency response operation.<br />
vii. Screen and issue disaster warning information to the public<br />
concerning preparedness and safety.<br />
viii. Forward urgent information to relevant agencies for immediate<br />
action.<br />
ix. Prepare daily briefings on disaster situations for DG PDMA,<br />
PDMC.<br />
x. Organize regular media and public information briefings.<br />
xi. Prepare situation Report (SITREP) on daily and weekly basis<br />
and circulate to the Chief Minister, Governor PDMC Members,<br />
concerned departments, <strong>NDMA</strong>, DDMA, Armed Forces and<br />
other stakeholders.
