(2) Organize/conduct joint assessment and share report with PHF members,<br />
<strong>NDMA</strong>, PDMAs and DDMAs.<br />
(3) Assist DDMAs in emergency response. Provide relief support food and non<br />
food items to the affected population.<br />
(4) Ensure that PHF members follow the Sphere Project Minimum Standards in<br />
disaster response.<br />
(5) Design a coordinated joint response in the light of the assessment report<br />
findings.<br />
(6) Closely work with <strong>NDMA</strong>, PDMAs and DDMAs during the disaster time.<br />
30. Pakistan Red Crescent Society<br />
a. Emergency Preparedness<br />
(1) Prepare emergency preparedness plan.<br />
(2) Ensure that all PRCS branches have developed preparedness plan at district<br />
level with close coordination of local government.<br />
(3) Provide financial and technical support to the branches for preparedness<br />
activities.<br />
(4) Compile inventory of resources for emergency response.<br />
(5) Develop capacity of PRCS district level branches in disaster preparedness and<br />
response.<br />
(6) Conduct trainings to promote Humanitarian Charter and Sphere Minimum<br />
Standards in <strong>Disaster</strong> <strong>Response</strong> in PRCS branches.<br />
(7) Conduct training for volunteers in first aid, evacuation, and emergency<br />
response.<br />
(8) Hold community based disaster preparedness and emergency response<br />
training workshops.<br />
(9) Formulate development plans in concert with <strong>NDMA</strong>.<br />
(10) Develop a roster of blood donors volunteers at branch and HQ level and share<br />
it with DDMAs, PDMAs and <strong>NDMA</strong>.<br />
b. Emergency <strong>Response</strong><br />
(1) Designate a representative to the NEOC, PEOCs and DEOCs (as applicable).<br />
(2) Assist DDMAs in evacuation process in the affected area.<br />
(3) Provide ambulance for rescue and transporting injured people.<br />
(4) Provide medical services to the affected population.<br />
(5) Coordination with <strong>NDMA</strong>, PDMAs, DDMAs, NGOs, INGOs, relief agencies for<br />
emergency response.
