v. Put everything ready and functional in the DEOC centre.<br />

vi. Coordinate with key departments and humanitarian<br />

organizations.<br />

vii. Update different stakeholders about the situation.<br />

viii. Closely coordinate and consult with PEOC.<br />

(b) On Receipt of Warning (Stage 2). Notification for full activation is<br />

issued and DEOC remains fully operational at 24/7 basis. The<br />

Secretary/Chairperson DDMA will inform concerned departments at<br />

district level e.g. Irrigation, Agriculture & Livestock, Police, Public Health<br />

Engineering, Health Education, Communication & Works, Revenue,<br />

PEOC and NEOC.SOPs to be followed for this stage are:-<br />

i. Notification for full activation of the PEOC.<br />

ii. Place NEOC fully operational at 24/7 basis.<br />

iii. The Secretary DDMA will inform concerned departments, PEOC,<br />

NEOC, humanitarian organizations, UN, I/NGOs, NGOs and<br />

Media etc<br />

(c) Stand Down Procedure (Stage 3). After reviewing situation and<br />

consultation with taluka/tehsil administration, Coordinator DEOC will<br />

advice the Secretary/Chairperson DDMA for stand down. After getting<br />

approval of PDMC, Chairman DDMC will approve the stand down of the<br />

DEOC. DEOC/DDMA will notify to the key departments at all level,<br />

PDMA and <strong>NDMA</strong> etc. SOPs to be followed for this stage are:-<br />

i. Coordinator DEOC will debrief Secretary/Chairman DDMA about<br />

stand down.<br />

ii. Secretary/Chairman DEOC will approve it and issues notification<br />

Secretary/Chairman disseminate notification to the relevant<br />

departments and other stakeholders.<br />

iii. Final report on the emergency operations will be circulated to<br />

key stakeholders.<br />

iv. Inform PEOC and NEOC for stand down.<br />

(4) Operationalization of DEOC. In case of full activation of DEOC,<br />

Coordinator DEOC will be responsible to fully equip the DEOC and provide all<br />

facilities to the representatives of departments who will be present in DEOC<br />

during disaster time. Stock of emergency food, office supplies, satellite phone<br />

sets, generators, logs, status boards, maps, and other material and necessary<br />

equipment must be available. It is to be ensured that briefing room is equipped<br />

with all maps, screens and multimedia projectors and other necessary material.
