Task Determine Values of System Parameters
Determine the values of a number of system parameters.
1. Determine the values of the following system parameters:
Name of the application server, number of work processes on the
central instance (dialog, background, enqueue, update, spool),
maximum number of sessions permitted per logon
a) You can determine the values of system parameters by running
the report RSPFPAR. The parameter names are as follows:
Name of the local application server: rdisp/myname.
Number of work processes on the central instance:
Dialog: rdisp/wp_no_dia
Background: rdisp/wp_no_btc
Enqueue: rdisp/wp_no_enq
Update: rdisp/wp_no_vb
Spool: rdisp/wp_no_spo
Maximum number of sessions permitted per logon:
rdisp/max_alt_modes.
