The SAP Solution Manager is a tool that provides the administrator with a
large number of functions for administering a complex system landscape.
This lesson provides an overview of these functions and briefly describes
the installation and configuration of the SAP Solution Manager.

This lesson provides an introduction to the SAP Solution Manager. It is
intended to present the possibilities to the participants. The aim here is not
to explain the operation of the SAP Solution Manager, since training for
this is provided in a separate curriculum.

The SAP Solution Manager provides a central service and support portal
and therefore supports the administrator in his or her daily work.

implementation and operation of SAP systems. It provides content, tools,
and procedures for implementing, operating and supporting SAP systems.
The SAP Solution Manager supports customers at the start of the
project, during functional and technical implementation, during running
operation, and during the optimization of their system landscapes. The
SAP Solution Manager also makes it possible to communicate with SAP
and its partners at any time and therefore enhances the extensive on-site
service.
