Login Parameters and User Info

Lesson Overview
In this lesson, you learn about important system parameters that are
important for user administration, for example, for logon behavior. You
can use the information system to obtain information about any incorrect
logon attempts. Failed authorization checks are analyzed with the system
trace. This lesson will also address using central directory services for
maintainingusermasterrecord,forexample,theaddressdatacontained
in the records.
Lesson Objectives
After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
• Set system parameters for user logons
• Locate authorization problems
Use RSPFPAR or transaction RZ11 to display a login/* system parameter
and its documentation.
Business Example
Users are having problems due to missing authorizations. The
administrator can analyze these using system tools.
