2. Perform another front end print with immediate output. Print the<br />

output of transaction SM51.<br />

3. Analyze the error. To do this, compare the trace information and<br />

the information from transaction SP01 with the information for the<br />

successful front end print from the previous task.<br />

4. Correct the error as described in the solution and perform another<br />

front end print.<br />

5. End your <strong>SAP</strong>LPD.<br />

Caution: Ending <strong>SAP</strong>LPD is necessary for the next task. Do<br />

not reset any of the trace files, but rather use the opportunity<br />

to compare the trace files for erroneous front end print<br />

processes with those of an error-free front end print process.<br />

Task 4 Example 2 (Optional):<br />

Port is occupied.<br />

1. Switch to the directory g:\Additional_Files\ADM100 .Inthe<br />

saprouter directory, open a command prompt. Start saprouter with the<br />

following call for the DEV group: saprouter -r -S 516 or with<br />

the following call for the QAS group: saprouter -r -S 517<br />

2. Perform another front end print.<br />

3. Analyze the error. To do this, compare the trace information and<br />

the information from transaction SP01 with the information for the<br />

successful front end print from the previous task.<br />

4. Correct the error as described in the solution and perform another<br />

front end print.<br />
