Unit 15 459 Structured Troubleshooting This unit should provide the participants with an overview of procedures for troubleshooting. These include various trace options in the SAP system. The most important of these should be introduced in detail. If appropriate, the instructor can certainly add additional trace possibilities with which he or she is familiar. The second lesson deals with an actual problem case: the case of front end printing not working, which should demonstrate a possible concrete process for structured troubleshooting to the participants. Unit Overview Oneofthetasksofsystemadministratorsistolocalizeandcorrecterrors when they occur. This unit will provide youwithanoverviewofdifferent trace options in the system and allows you to perform a number of traces. A possible process for structured troubleshooting will then be presented using a concrete example (errors in front end printing).
