ADM100 Lesson: Importing Support Packages<br />

2. Load the requested Support Packages into your <strong>SAP</strong> system by<br />

choosing Support Packages → Load Packages → From <strong>SAP</strong>Net - R/3<br />

Frontend.<br />

Loading a Support Package from the <strong>SAP</strong> Service Marketplace or from CD:<br />

1. LoadtheSupportPackagesfromthe<strong>SAP</strong>ServiceMarketplaceor<br />

from the relevant CD and decompress them.<br />

2. Now load the Support Packages into your system by choosing Support<br />

Package → Load Package → From application server.<br />

If the compressed files are on your front end server and are smaller than<br />

around 10 MB, you can transfer these files to the application server and<br />

decompress them directly from the Support Package Manager.<br />

1. Call the Support Package Manager with transaction code SPAM.<br />

2. Choose Support Package → Load Packages → From the Front end.<br />

3. To decompress the files in the archive, choose Decompress.<br />
