ADM100 Lesson: Importing Support Packages
2. Load the requested Support Packages into your SAP system by
choosing Support Packages → Load Packages → From SAPNet - R/3
Frontend.
Loading a Support Package from the SAP Service Marketplace or from CD:
1. LoadtheSupportPackagesfromtheSAPServiceMarketplaceor
from the relevant CD and decompress them.
2. Now load the Support Packages into your system by choosing Support
Package → Load Package → From application server.
If the compressed files are on your front end server and are smaller than
around 10 MB, you can transfer these files to the application server and
decompress them directly from the Support Package Manager.
1. Call the Support Package Manager with transaction code SPAM.
2. Choose Support Package → Load Packages → From the Front end.
3. To decompress the files in the archive, choose Decompress.

Cover this section only briefly. The test scenario is the important point.
Explain this in more detailed (experimental import, in particular to identify
objects from the SPDD/SPAU adjustment in advance of the import).
Transmission Monitor: Load the Support Packages with graphical
monitoring.
