The file sapdoccd.ini, described here in more detail, is primarily used<br />

on front ends that are connected to the <strong>SAP</strong> system by a WAN connection.<br />

In this way, it is possible to access local help files, and to avoid network<br />

load. The initial screen of the online documentation in .chm format is more<br />

than2MBinsizeduetothelargeinitialnavigationtree.<br />

Explain the sequence in which possible locations for the sapdoccd.ini<br />

file are evaluated. There could be a number of these files stored on a<br />

front end. For detailed information about the content and structure of<br />

sapdoccd.ini, see <strong>SAP</strong> Note 94849.<br />

Explanation of the parameters and possible values:<br />

• HelpType: PlainHtmlHttp, PlainHtmlFile, HtmlHelpFile,<br />

DynamicHelp, GetFromR3<br />

• Server: Name of the Web server on which the files for<br />

are stored<br />

• Path-: Path under which the help for<br />

the logon language is stored: should be<br />

replaced with a two-character language ID.<br />

• Path: Path under which the help that is to be displayed<br />

if the parameter Path- is not defined for the<br />

current logon language is stored.<br />
