345 Basics of User Administration<br />

This unit will introduce the basics of user administration. The focus is<br />

on explaining terminology and the possibilities that role maintenance<br />

provides. The creation of user master records, already familiar from the<br />

<strong>SAP</strong>TEC course, is repeated here briefly.<br />

Unit Overview<br />

This unit addresses the <strong>SAP</strong> authorization concept. The focus is on<br />

explaining important terms and creating roles and authorization profiles.<br />

System parameters will be used to demonstrate how relevant settings<br />

canbemadeinthesystem. Theuseofcentraldirectoryservicesisalso<br />

introduced.<br />
