The highest IP address in the IP range should be entered here in dot-decimal form, e.g.<br />

192.168.1.200.<br />

Attention:<br />

To enter a single IP address as a range, this IP address must simply be entered in both fields.<br />

This is often the level where the following parameter is fixed, which applies to all computers in this subnet<br />

(unless other values are entered in lower levels).<br />

4.5.10.4 DHCP pool<br />

Attention:<br />

If DHCP pools are to be created in a subnet, there should be no IP ranges defined in the subnet entry.<br />

These should only be created in the pool entries.<br />

A DHCP pool object must always be created below a DHCP subnet object.<br />

Name (*)<br />

Any unique name can be entered in this entry field for the DHCP pool, e.g. sales.company.com.<br />

First address<br />

The lowest IP address in the IP range should be entered here in dot-decimal form, e.g. 192.168.1.100.<br />

Last address<br />

The highest IP address in the IP range should be entered here in dot-decimal form, e.g.<br />

192.168.1.200.<br />

Attention:<br />
